Bryan, Adelyn, and myself are soo happy to annouce that we are expecting another baby!!! I do not know any details as of yet. I am guestimating that I am about 3.5 weeks along. According the the pregnancy calculations online I will be due 7-2-10, which is VERY close to Addy's b-day! Not very good planning on our part, but we are truely blessed and over joyed either way. I will keep everyone posted as more information comes avaliable.

We are looking forward to the holidays!!

Bonfire Season

We are starting an annual Klokkenga Bonfire this year! We are going to roast hotdogs, marshmellows, eat some YUMMY food, play with the kiddos, and chit chat with GREAT friends and family! Now that we have a house and yard big enough to entertain, I believe we will be doing more parites @ the Klokkenga residence. I love to have people over and catch up. Anymore it seems everyone is busy with their own lives and millions of things going on that we don't have much time to get together or even just simply pick up the phone to say, "Hey, How are things?"
So we couldn't think of a better way to see everyone and especially to let all the kids play together. This one was set up VERY last minute, but in the years to come I will be more organized and let everyone know in plenty of time.
The remainer of this week Bryan and I will be prepping the inside and outside of the house for the party. (With fun comes LOTS of cleaning and preparing, but it'll all be worth it in the end.) I believe Ms. Adelyn will have a great time babbling with her buddies, just being a kid.
I will be sure to post pictures from this weekend and the MANY upcoming events in our lives that will be taking place. Take Care!

So far September has been jam packed for us. We haven't had much time to sit @ home and do nothing, besdies this past weekend. Friday night we got off of work and layed around. Well until I got a wild hair and wanted to go to Target. So off to Target we went. Adelyn got LOTS of new stuff. Mommy went on a shopping spree for winter clothes. We got several outfits, a really cute pair of PINK uggs (knock off Uggs.. they are like swuade snow boots) a hat and pair of gloves that match her winter coat, a new baby doll, a stroller for her baby doll, socks, and a couple small toys. We woke up Sat AM and cleaned out Addy's dresser and closet and boxed up her summer clothes that are too small. rearranged her closet and her room looks so cute. :) Then Saturday morning I went and picked up mom and we went BACK to Target again and bought MORE stuff for Addy. This trip she got another small toy and diapers and wipes.(and and 1 more cute shirt) We also got a stand for our bathroom to put our towels/hair dryer etc on. Bryan started to put that together and it was broken, so we are returning it.Target LOVED the Klokkenga's this weekend. Saturday afternoon we went to the Morton Pumpkin Festival. We had a good time looking @ the arts and crafts there. Adelyn got a pink Tutoo and more hair bows and a new hair bow holder. We had a photo shoot with the tutoo when we got home. Saturday night we hung out @ home and played. and Sunday Bryan had to unexpectiadley worked ALL day. We were supposed to go to my cousin's couples 80's bridal shower, but Bryan didnt get home until 6:00PM. So addy and I stayed home and played, i studied for a while. last nigth we hung out and relaxed, it was nice.Now it's back to another busy work week. The weekends absolutely fly by. :(

Fall already?

It totally feels like fall. well through most of the summer its felt like fall. I love the fall season, but I also Love summer and we didnt get a long enough nor warm enough summer. :( It's been said we are supposed to have a terrible winter also. I dread that. I do not like winter time.
Well Adelyn has a cold ALREADY. We've been wiping her nose millions of times a day and she HATES it. she has been cranky lately. But she has not only been cranky from having a cold, but i was feeling aroundin her mouth last night and felt that she had 2 molars on the top on both sides come in as well as last week had her two top I teeth pop in. poor baby girl! Her sleep schedule is completely off as well. She hasnt been asleep before 11:00PM all week starting like Friday night. I asked Kimmy (babysitter) to not let her sleep more than an hour and a half over there b/c she isnt sleeping well. Kim said she hasnt let her sleep long this past week and she STILL isnt back on schedule. I think the teething and the cold are also contributing factor.
This weekend is Labor Day weekend, I am excited to have 4 days @ home with Adelyn. well I better get back to work. My memory cards for my camera are both full, so when i get those pics printed off, I will take more and post more of our 14 month old!!! (already)

Fast Summer...

Everything around the Klokkenga household is wonderful. We will be welcoming a new addition to our family hopefully this coming weekend. My parents Cat Callie is coming to live with us. Adelyn absolutely loves Callie. When we are @ my parents house she gets so excited about her. We arent sure how well Bella (our dog) is going to react to this, but i think she'll be fine. I think, Callie will have more of a problem adjusting to Bella than Bella will her. Callie was actually born on Adelyn's due date 6-24-08. So callie is only 4 days older than our Addy. So wish me luck as we take on another animal. I am very excited though.
Today was kind of a sad day for me, one of my nieces and one of my nephews started kindergarten today. Austin started @ a provocial school and Kaitlyn is going to a school near Bartonville. Bryan and I were laying in bed talking last night about how we were there when Kaitlyn was born and how Austin was born when we were in Chicago. Man time has really flown by so fast. :( Word is that kaitlyn did wonderful and so did Austin, but Austin got a little upset when his mommy and daddy left. I cannot even imagine Adelyn's 1st day of kindergarten. It makes me so sad to even think about it. :(
Anyways, Adelyn is still changing and doing new things EVERY DAY! it blows our minds how she has turned into quite her own little person. Her newest words are: ALL DONE, POOL, DOG DOG, Kitty, and OH NO! she is also quite a good tape recorder. Mommy and daddy need to start watching theirs mouths with foul words. she is picking things up and repeating all the time.
Her hair is getting really full. It still isn't long enough on top to put it into a pony tail, but we have plenty of time for that. Looks like she might have hazel eyes. Depends on what she's wearing to determine the color. Bryan has green eyes and I have brown, so she has a mix of both. :)
We bought her a huge ball pit that she absolutely loves. When we get home in the evenings she runs right to her big ball pit. she jumps in and jumps out.
We went on our 1st actual family vacation to Wisconsin Dells a couple of weeks ago. We had a really good time. We went with Bryan's family. The waterparks there were wonderful. Bryan and I went down a ton of water slides, which neither of us had done in YEARS. we took my nephew Bryson with us and he had a blast.
I am back to studying my life away. But it'll be worth it, i guess. Bryan has been working a ton.
We still love our new house. Bryan finally got his 52 flat screen plasma that he's been wanting. He talked me right into it, bc i wanted a new tv also. Next is a new kitchen table, i hope. Then new furniture. Our old will then move down in the basement.
I haven't done much to the house as far as ripping down borders and painting. We have been so busy this summer. I am saving it for a winter project after I am done with this test anyways. I have alot to do to make it "ours" still. The upcoming months are also jam packed for us. we will still find time to enjoy our baby girl. (lord knows she wont be this age for long)

Lack of B-day pictures

I am sorry I am sorry, I have been slacking. This is the only picture that I have here @ work from her birthday party. I promise to get birthday pics up this weekend sometime. Well Adelyn had a wonderful turn out for her birthday party. Thanks to everyone who came!! SHe didnt quite tear into her cake, but i didnt think she would. After she starting tasting it she dove into it more. By the time she was done with it, she was a mess. So we threw her into the tubby and got her all cleaned up. Adelyn gots LOTS of nice presents and alot of monitary gifts. we made our spare bedroom into a toy room for her and she spends hours in there playing with her new toys. she loves it. My plan this weekend is to buy her some more outside toys. For a 1 year old Adelyn has quite a nice bank account, so we are going to use a small portion of her birthday money and buy her a kiddy pool, a play house, and some gardening toys. She really enjoys playing outside. Bryan and I got her a car taht we push her in and she absolutely loves it. we go for long walks in the evening and she rides so well.
I am going to work on her b-day thanks you's this weekend when she is down for a nap. it is supposed to be rather cool outside so we cannot go enjoy gma and gpa buxtons's pool this weekend. BUMMER!
Tonight I am hosting Bunko @ our house. Bunko is a dice game with a group of friends. Really it's an excuse to get together and gossip. HAHA!
Next Friday (the 24th) we are going with my dad to a crimer stoppers party @ the Paradise. that'll be nice for some mommy and daddy time. Then Saturday is Adelyn's friend Carson's 1st bday party. I am now watching my niece and nephew on saturday's so we might have to just send a gift, but we are going to try to make it. This past weekend was the Air show and to my surprise Adelyn loved the planes. they didnt scare her @ all. the fireworks did scare her however. She wasnt too sure of the loud sounds from them.
I am off the 1st week and August and I am so looking forward to that time with my little girl. Bryan isnt off with us, but that's okay b/c we have the full week planned full of fun stuff in the sun. i think I am gonig to take her to the zoo one day, Splashdown another, Sherri and Mike's pool some days, Wild Life Prairie Park with my sisters one day, and lots more. It's always nice to look forward to something.
we want to make a shout out to wonderful Aunt Paige!! she turns 20 today!! Happy b-day Aunt Paige. I love spending time with you. :)

1st Birthday

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ADELYN MARIE !!!!!!!!!!

Well 1 year ago today was my official due date to welcome our precious babygirl into the world. Things didnt happen exactly as planned, but she was well worth the wait. She is as perfect 1 year ago as she is today. The things she does everyday just amazes us. We love to watch her play with her toys, babble with Bella, get every toy out of her toy basket in the living room and doesnt play with half of them, throw Bella's toys across the room and belly laugh as Bella runs over to retrieve them, throw her food from her heighchair as Bella gulped it right up and laughs her butt off as Bella is hurrying to get it all, the way she finds her daddy in a crowd of people and gets the biggest smile on her face, the way she points @ people she recognizes, they way she snuggles up with momma @ night and sais niiiniiii as she is ready for bed, the way she wakes up in the morning with a HUGE smile on her face and sais awwww, the way she puts her head between her knees and looks @ us upside down and giggles, the way she walks around the house telling bella and anyone who gets in her way noo nooo noo noo and most of all we love the way she loves us! :) it doesnt matter how imperfect or perfect mommy and daddy are she loves us for us. She is the highlight of both Bryan and I's day. She has turned into quite her own person. I cannot believe how fast the 1st year of her life has flown by. Her birthday party has been so much fun to plan. Her theme is pink and chocolate polka dots just like her room. I am very excited to see how her cake turns out. My aunts niece is doing it as she is going to culinary school in august and makes wonderful/beautiful cakes. I am not quite sure what Bryan and I are going to get for her, we might wait until after her birthday party to see what she gets and then go get her something. We are expecting about 40 adults and 10 kids in attendance. I think Adelyn will have a great day spend with friends and family. I took this friday off to get the house all cleaned up and do the last of the grocery shopping. I also took Monday off to spend the whole day with her. I think we might hang out by the pool on Monday. Well we hope everyone has a cool upcoming weekend. I will post her bday pics ASAP!

All moved In :)

We are finally all moved into our new house. It was a pretty smooth move. A huge THANK YOU for everyone that helped us. We couldn't have dont it w/o out wonderful friends and family. Our first night went great. Adelyn slept ALL night as did Bryan and I. We were all exhausted so when we hit the pillows that was it. All of the boxes are unpacked and mostly everything has found a place. We installed a permanent baby gate @ the top of the stairs on the main level b/c Adelyn tried many times to venture her way down. The second day in our new house I was still getting things situated and noticed Adelyn was VERY clingy and grouchy. It went into Saturday night that she ran a high fever and was up all night. So Sunday we made our way into the peds after hours where she was diagnosed with her first ( and hopefully only) ear infection in her right ear. Sunday night was another rough night for her. Monday afternoon her antiboitic started to kick in and she felt alot better. Last night (monday night) she slept all night again. THANK GOD! that was much needed for her and both Bryan and I. I think Adelyn and Bella have adjusted to the new house very well. Adelyn has a much bigger room so I put alot more of her toys out on the floor in corners and we have found her the last 3 days playing in her room w/ they toys. she loves her new big room. Bryan and I are soo excited to live in a nice neighborhood and most of all raise our daughter in a great neighborhood. We are truley blessed.

In a couple of weeks Bryan and I will be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. Boy has time flown by. The following weekend we are taking out small family vacation. we are heading to STL for Addy's 1st Cardinals game and the STL Zoo. We are really looking forward to a nice relxing time.

My inlaws opened their pool this past weekend. Adelyn and I are anxious to hop in. This weekend is supposed to be nice so that's where you will find us if it is. Adelyn has 7 swimsuits and 3 tubes to motoring around the pool in. If she doesnt like the water right away she eventually will until she does. LOL b/c mommy loves to swim.

Also our little girl will be 1 on June 28th! this past year has been exciting, new, and awesome. she has grown so fast. I am starting this week to plan her birthday party. Everyone mark your calenders b/c her bday party will be @ our new house on the day of her actual birthday.

Adelyn is being dedicated to the lord @ Northwood's Community Church on Sunday May 10th after the 11:00 o'clock service. Just wanted to let everyone know b/c i could have forgotten someone. Thanks!!

Moving!!!!

The time has come, we sold our house after being on the market just between 4-5 days. We found a new house in East Peoria up by ICC. we close on both houses May 22nd. Bryan, Addy and I are very excited and very blessed! we are going from 962 square feet to 2,040 square feet. We are going to have more room than we know what to do with. Right now in the new house the walls are for the most part all white. I will be splashing some color on those walls eventually, but our main goal on moving day is to get Addy's room all set up so her world can still be as normal as possible. things I am sure will be turned upside down for a while for her. It will take some used to adapting to our new surroundings. Adelyn's room right now is purple and anyone who knows me well knows i do NOT like purple. so taht will be one of the first rooms in the house painted a different color! :) we have a really big eat in kitchen! about double the size we have now. Our master bedroom has his and her closets and a master full bath. The room is way bigger than our current. the house was built in 2001 and is in a wonderful neighborhood! It will be great to go for stroller and bicycle ride and meet new people. It is literally 5 minutes from Bryan's work. A little bit of a longer drive for me, but not bad. it'll be worth it. It has 2 full baths and 1 1/2. the basement is fully finished. It has a double stall oversized garage and a nice yard for our Bella bee.
So this past week Bryan and I have been working our butts off packing and packing. it seems to be never ending. I will be glad when both houses are box free and we're all unpacked and settled into the new one.
Addy turned 10 months old yesterday. she is babbling up a storm and motoring around the furniture. she is doing wonderful. still eating awesome and is finally sleep ing good for us again! i had to wake her up this AM to get ready to go to Kimmies (her bb sitters) and she was snoring up a storm in there. She must get that from me. B/c Bryan never snores! :) i do!! well i had better wrap things up here and head to get my precious babygirl!! :)

9 Month pictures

I took Adelyn to get her 9 month pictures. They turned out adorable as you acn see. She is soo photogenic for such a little girl. all I have to do is look @ her and it puts a smile of my face. Lol im not a proud mom or anything. Just kiddin! well we sold our house. 4 1/2 days of being on the market. So we have been busy trying to find a new place for us. We close on our house on May 22nd. We put an offer on a really nice house in East Peoria today. We are waiting to hear results about that. We are super excited! Bryan has started summer hours and busy season, so he is back to working a ton. He is short a manager, so as soon as he gets another one hired and trained he wont be working AS much. I am still in class. I am really burnt out. It ends the end of June though. So not much longer. Adelyn is motoring everywhere these days. she just started yesterday taking a step or two not holding on to anything. she is a brave lil girl :) she has mastered crawling. She is eating more and more table food everyday. I met my parents @ Avantis yesterday for lunch and she loved their bread. She must get taht from momma b/c I could eat a loaf all to myself. well i had better get to cleaning my house. Hope everyone has a speedy week.

Addy's 1st Easter

Here are a some pics from her 1st easter. She had a great time. She loved all of her Easter basket goodies! :) She made out quite well of course. I will update more later this week... I need some much needed sleep. The holidays wear us out. we are ont he go all day EVERY holiday. Hope everyone's Easter was as good as ours.

New things!

This past weekend Adelyn has done some new things! Saturday morning her 1st tooth popped through! i was sooo excited i was screaming and yelling and scared my poor baby. the second one isnt far behind. it is about ready to pop through as well. She also started crawling forward this. she is still a little unsure, but is totally getting it. I now need to "babyproof" my house. (yes i know ashley for Ava too) lol she also started to feel herself peas, carrotts, and fruit medly. Before she would just play with it b/c she was unsure, but now she full flegde feeds herself :) My baby is getting sooooooo big. it's crazy. Before we know it, she will be walking and turning 1!!

We are getting her nine month pictures taken next month. My sister in law Jessica is doing them. she does wonderful work. We are getting some of her in her super cute easter dress. we are taking her to a local park to shoot them. We are praying for nice weather.

We also planned our 1st small family vacation. We are heading down to STL to take Adelyn to her 1st Cardinals game. (B is an avid cards fam and def wants to take her) We are then heading to the STL zoo also. I am excited for her to see new things. She has funny expressions so it should be intersting to see what she thinks of the vacation.

Sundays are amazing around our house. Sunday is our "funday". We do all sorts of new things as a family. Today we went to the Riverman hockey game w/ my work. it was a good time.

Adelyn is babbling up a storm still these days. She has added to her vocabulary.. momma, dadda, byebye, and baba. she has also started to crawl backwards. we still dont have any teeth. LOL anymore I'm wondering if she's ever going to get them. i know she still has plenty of time. :) she has quite the personality. she has recently started throwing fits and getting upset when I walk out of the room or I am leaving. I was reading in one of my books that this is the age that seperation issues start. I dont look forward to dropping her off @ the baby sitters and she crying for me. That will be rough for me. :( We have started her a little on table food. she isnt quite sure of texture w/ the food yet. she still acts like she's gagging somewhat, but we are working on it. Boy she can put away some baby food though. she still LOVES gerber oatmeal.

We have started the "getting our house ready to sell" process. We arent sure if we are going to buy a house or buy some land. So if we decied to buy some land.. we might be making a couple moves. UGH but we are taking ALOT of factors into considerdation this time. I told our realtor that he will probably hate me by the time this is otherwith b/c I am going to be SUPER picky as to where we move and what we move into. This will be a house/neighborhood our kids will grow up in and go to school etc. so we shall see what the future brings us. well I am off to get Adelyn to bed. rainy days!! :(

there isn't too much to report around the Klokkenga household. Just a few things. Adelyn is getting closer and closer to walking. she takes steps as long as me or B are holding onto her hands. She is becoming more mobile by the minute.
We have had sooo many rainy days. It's driving me nuts. I want to take Adelyn outside to enjoy the weather, but not when it's raining. We are soooo ready for Spring/Summer. We went and bought her Easter dress. It is adorable. I will be sure to post pics of her in it.
We had our realtor come out and give us some pointers on what we should do to sell our house. to say the least... we have ALOT to do. Painting, clean carpets, dejunking drawers, getting rid of the clutter and the list goes on and on. We are shooting @ April 1st to officially put it on the market. So that means these next 3 week/weekends... we are going to be busting our butts getting it ready. We are more than ready to move into a nicer neighborhood.
well just alittle update. I had better get back to work.

Our baby girl has grown so much and done so much this past month. It seems as if I can't keep up with it. She is changing soo much everyday. I got home from work the other night and she was playing on the floor when i walked in and as soon as i looked @ her I said to Bryan she has has gotten longer just since i dropped her off. it's like she grew in an 8 hour span.

Saturday night she woke up screaming in the middle of the night. I went in there and picked her up and she was burning up. So i took her temp and she had 103.5 temp. I freaked out. i slammed baby tylenol down her quick, woke bryan up in a panic, and called the peds after hours nurse line. they told me she probably has an infection (mind you we just took her to the dr the thursday before and they said she just had a cold) so she told me to monitor her through the night and to remember "fevers are good when babies have infection" so i had to keep telling myself that b/c i was a mess. i hadnt ever dealt with a fever that high and especially not w/ my baby. it was scary! but all is well now. she still has a small cough, but nothing terrible.

she just started this month scooting her little butt around on the floor. if i set her on one side of the room... it might take her a while to get the object but she ventures her way over there and gets it. she also just started pulling herself up on things. her favorite thing is our automin in front of our love seat. she pulls herself up there and can balance herself quite well. so it might not be long until she starts taking steps. we shall see. crawling isnt her things just yet. she might do that, but might not. she hasnt quite decided that yet. she has quite the personality too these days. happy as ever as long as she gets what she wants. shes really a good baby though. well im outta here. Off to bed. enjoy the new pics and pray for SPRING ASAP!!!

SOO big

Our baby Addy is getting soooo big. It sometimes makes me sad. She isn't going to be a baby much longer :( when i think of her getting soo big I think of the song by Darius Rucker... "It Won't Be Like This For Long" What a true song. Adelyn everyday is changing soo much. She finally has lots of hair growing and staying in :) I'm am soo excited to put bows in her hair. She still hasnt popped any teeth through. I sure do dread those nights. My good friend Ashley had a heck of a time w/ her daughter when she was teething. Who knows though.. every baby is sooo different she could just speed right through it.

Well we had a sad time down in Highland burrying Bryan's grandmother. It was nice to see the family, but sad in those circumstances. It was a quick trip back b/c i had my 5.5 hour test. UGH which i will let everyone know I did not pass :( Only one of out 6 people taking the test passed. So i am taking the whole class again and I'm going to get it this time. HOPEFULLY! It is a really tough class. I dont think i put enough time and effort into it the first time. so we oh well. i was really torn up about it @ first, but now i'm just like oh well I'll give it another shot.
Adelyn still isn't quite mobile yet. She doesnt have much interest in moving around. I think she might skip the crawling stage. Not sure though. She has a pretty laid back personality just like her father. Not too much ruffles her feathers. well we sure know she isnt like her mom in that aspect. lol

We are hoping to have a nice relaxing Valentine's day with baby Addy. She has the cutest little v-day outfit. i will post pics after tomorrow of her in it. bryan and I made up a little basket of stuff for her. (some stuff we get to have though) lol we get the chocolate. But there are things for her too. lol Not much else to report. She has had a cold the past couple of weeks. Finally getting over it now. I think i am starting to get a cold now. UGh pass it around. Oh fun. Well we hope everyone has a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! xoxoxoxo to all!!! :)

Busy Bee's

Bryan's grandmother (Sherri's mom) passed away Monday night. She had alzheimers disease. So we are headed down to St Louis Thursday morning for the funeral and visitation. We will head back Friday afternoon b/c on Saturday is my 5 1/2 hour long coding test. This test is a really big deal for my new job. I have to be certified and this is it. I am nervous about it because it is soo by the books. no talking, eating, etc for 5.5 hours!! should be interesting.

Our little miss Adelyn is doing wonderful. She has done a couple new things this past week. She waves bye bye @ us now. (which is so stinkin cute) she has also started a little attitude problem rather quickly. When we take something away from her she gets mad and started pushing off of us (if we are holding her) and making like a loud grunting sound. I was changing her diaper last night and evidentially she didnt want me to do that and started kicking away from me and grunting real loud. I'm not soooo sure I like that, but how do i stop a 7 months old w/ an attitude?! lol she didnt get it honest or anything?!?! LOL. She is also talking up a storm. She is constantly babbling. we are trying to coach her into saying dadadada, but still hasnt yet. she still saying mamamama quite often in which i just eat up :) well I had better get back to work. Well our Addy has done a couple of new things since we last posted. The first big thing is she sais, "mamamamamamamama" and reaches for me ALL the time. It is soo cute. She just started doing that this week. she has said mamamama for a while now, but has now associated the name with me. She babbles all the time. yesterday for the 1st and ONLY time she got up on all fours and started rocking back and forth then after about a mintue toppled over on her side and rolled the rest of the way over. It seems as if she is doing something new and fun everyday. AND another big change is she is now in a "big girl" car seat. I must add, she LOVES it. She just looks out the window in amazement like what is all this new stuff. So before leaving the house now we have to add a little extra time to get her all bundled up in her snowsuit. @ first she didnt like being in it, but now it just seems to be routine for her. THANK GOD no more fighting her to get it on. She does look really cute in it. I will post a few pics. well we are off to the mall to spend our gift cards and birthday money. Bryan's bday is monday and mine is Friday. we are having a small get together with our immediate family and a few friends to do a little something for the both of us turning the big 2-5!!! OH BOY!! well hope everyone stays warm. I know i hate cilco this time of the year as I am sure everyone else does too. our bill was $400 for last month!! GRR have a great work week.

holidays have come and gone! :(

well our babies 1st Christmas was amazing. She is one spoiled little girl. She gots, lots of money for her bank account, lots of clothes, sleepers, toys, teethers, sippy cups, bowls, and baby puffs (food). She looked sooo stinkin cute in her dress. She LOVED the wrapping paper. She was all tangled up in it like the whole time. She was a trooper all day long too. We didnt have hardly any complaints from her @ all even when she was passed around like crazy! We defenitely took millions of pictures. (mommys is like the paparazzi.) Poor adelyn.

So our baby is 6 months old alraedy. so you know what that means.. we had our dreaded 6 month shots. I couldnt be there this time (oh darn) so daddy had to take her all alone. he said she did really well. she screamed for the initial stick, but was then fine. evidentially she gave the nurse a pretty nasty look after she stuck her. Bryan said is was quite funny. We are also starting meats this week. I am not so sure she will love these, but we will mix with fruits and veggies so she gets her nutrition.

For the new year.. we rang it in @ Sherri and Mike's with all of our friends and their babies. It was a good time. It was like baby central there. Of course it was us, The Howard's, The Murphy's, The Garza's (minus Dustin who is in Iraq), and the Buxton's. It was a really good time veggin out and hanging with our friends... and our babies hanging out. We actually made it past midnight... Shock Shock... i didnt think I'd make it.

I also started my new job this week. It is quite the change from Medical Records. I work with alot of older women now.. so i feel really really really really young.

Speaking of young... B and I's birthdays are around the corner. We will both be the BIG 25!!!! I am a little uneasy about this. Why... I'm not sure.. I just feel like I'm getting old REALLY fast.
